Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop

Craft a contemporary macramé plant hanger to take home.

Create Your Own Macramé Plant Hanger

Join us for a creative and relaxing Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop, perfect for beginners, in the beautiful and unique setting of the Animal Room at Borde Hill House.

Led by Paula from Cocoon&me, this hands-on workshop will teach you how to craft a stunning, contemporary plant hanger using recycled cotton cord and copper trim.

During the session, you’ll learn three basic macramé knots – twisted half, square, and wrap knots – to create your own bespoke hanger. With a choice of 9mm braided recycled cotton yarn in various colours and copper beads, you’ll design a one-of-a-kind piece that will perfectly complement any trailing plant.

The finished hanger will be approximately 1 metre in length and is ideal for showcasing your favourite plants.

This workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to make something special while soaking in the historic charm of Borde Hill House and its stunning Garden.

Tickets include:

  • Tuition, all materials and a copy of our instructions to take home.
  • Refreshments upon arrival to enjoy as you settle in for your creative experience.
