Mindful slow flow Yoga followed by a meditative walk through the blossoming Garden
Now that the winter is finally retreating and spring is officially in the air, we can start looking forward with a sense of hope and excitement for the warmer light-filled days ahead.
Beltane marks the beginning of summer, and is celebrated in early May so we are drawing on this ancient celebration in our evening of mindful yoga at Borde Hill, led by acupuncturist and Integrative Health Coach, Claire Behrens.
May is a time when spring is at its peak and nature is bursting and blossoming with fertility and vibrancy. Beltane is a pagan ceremony that marks halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice and is a time of year for dancing around the fire and rejoicing in the wonders of the changing seasons. It is the perfect time for celebrating fertility – curating a fertile mindset, and rejoicing in abundant thinking, creativity and prosperity.
We will start the evening with intention setting over a warm mug of cacao before flowing through some mindful yoga to shake off the week and warm up the body. Then, as the sun starts to dip in the sky, we will walk through the stunning garden rooms of Borde Hill to take in the flourishing and blossoming energy around us in the peace of after-hours when the Garden is filled with birdsong.
With a calmer mind post yoga, we will be able to really absorb the detail of nature’s abundance and carry a heart full of gratitude for the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
Our evening at Borde Hill
