Opening Times

Garden, Parkland and Woodland

10th February – 22nd December 2024. 10am to 5pm daily (3pm from 1st November)

Last admission one hour before closing.

Woodland closed for the winter from Monday 16th September.

Prices

Day Tickets for Individuals and Families

A £1 online discount is automatically applied to Standard and Gift Aid Day Tickets pre-booked at least a day in advance.

Concession rates apply to visitors with a disability, students with ID and 60+ claiming a pension.

*Gift Aid

Gift Aid admission includes a 10% voluntary donation to our registered charity. This lets us reclaim tax from the Government on the whole amount paid. For every £1 you spend, we can reclaim an extra 25p, helping support our projects, including rare plant propagation and ‘Reinventing Borde Hill’.

Group Prices

15 or more people qualify to be a Group

Discounts apply when booked at least 2 weeks in advance. Advance payments are non-refundable.

Free entry for the Group Organiser or Leader.
Free coach driver admission and a £10 refreshment voucher.

Garden Admission:
Group entry per adult – £9.50

Guided Tours:
Garden Tours start from £100 for a group of up to 25 people* – price excludes garden entry. Specialist Tours are also available – visit our Group Page for details

*Groups over 25 will be split into multiple tours from £100 per tour.

Bespoke catering options – please contact us to discuss your group’s requirements.

Pre-book and save on admission

We encourage visitors to pre-book their visit in advance to help manage numbers and prevent queues on arrival. By booking your Day Tickets online at least a day in advance, a £1 discount per ticket type will automatically be applied to the booking screen.

This discount does not apply to ticketed events or Memberships.

Tickets cannot be exchanged, resold, transferred to another date or refunded. Tickets will be sent via email.

We accept the following partner offers for Garden entry. Tickets can be pre-booked online using the appropriate dropdown option, showing your card on arrival:

RHS Partner Garden

Individual RHS Members receive free entry to the Garden throughout July and September 2024 (excluding special events). Eligible cards have an asterisk (*) on the front or back. Please show your card on arrival.

Gardeners’ World 2For1 Offer

The Gardeners’ World 2For1 card is valid on any day throughout the open season (excluding special events). The first guest pays the full Adult Day Ticket price, the second is free. Individual visitors receive a 25% discount off the Adult Day Ticket price. Please show your card on arrival.

Historic Houses Members

Historic Houses Members receive free entry to the Garden throughout the open season (excluding special events). Please show your card on arrival.

Tesco Clubcard Vouchers

Redeem the cost of your admission on the Tesco Clubcard webpage, then book your Garden entry here using the ‘Other Admission Voucher’ dropdown. On arrival you will need to show  your email with the Tesco voucher code which begins with BHG. Please note Tesco vouchers can only be used for the cost of Day Admission and cannot be used for Memberships, ticketed events or the cost of school holiday Family Trails.

Membership is your ticket to enjoy unlimited access to the Garden, Parkland and Woodland throughout the open season. Our members also receive free entry to a number of exciting events, from live music in the Garden to Specialist Plant Fairs and much more. Family Membership provides unlimited access to the Adventure Playground and free school holiday trails.

Set within 383 acres of heritage listed Parkland, our formal Garden captivates and delights visitors with a series of intimate 'Garden rooms'. Beyond the formal Garden you can explore Woodland walks, the South Park and our lakes with outstanding views across the Sussex High Weald.
