Explore Borde Hill with your dog
Dogs are welcome throughout our Garden, Parkland and Woodland
It’s no secret that we are huge dog lovers at Borde Hill and welcome them throughout our Garden, Parkland and Woodland at all times during our open season – we’ll even leave your four-legged friend a free dog treat on arrival to make them feel welcome.
We also have water bowls at the Visitor Reception and in the seating area outside the Gardeners’ Retreat Cafe so they can enjoy a refreshing drink whenever needed.
To ensure all our visitors can enjoy their day out and to help protect our wildlife, flora and fauna, we just ask that you keep your dog on a short lead at all times and away from flower beds.
The only area that we ask visitors to keep dog-free, with the exception of assistance dogs, is the children’s Adventure Playground.
Picking up your dog’s waste helps keep Borde Hill looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy. When done, please pop it in the general waste bins located outside of the Garden entrance, at Visitor Reception or by the Long Dell toilets.
Explore the tranquillity of Warren Wood and Stephanie’s Glade. During spring, tree-sized rhododendrons come into full bloom and their white, pink and red flowers overhang the woodland carpet of bluebells, wood anemones and wild garlic.
Set within over 383 acres of traditional Parkland, our paradise for plants in the heart of Sussex captivates and delights visitors with a series of intimate living Garden rooms, plus Woodland, Parkland, lakes and outstanding views across the Sussex High Weald.
The Garden is open 10am-5pm, daily.
Day Tickets pre-booked online at least a day before your visit receive a £1 online discount.
