Borde Hill brings together a collection of welcoming spaces to eat, drink and unwind – from light bites in the Garden to lunches at Edie’s and elegant dining in our glasshouse restaurant, Isca.

Our seasonal, family-friendly Garden Cafés offer day visitors fresh sandwiches, homemade bakes and barista coffee, crafted with locally sourced ingredients – an ideal pause during your Garden visit.

Adjacent to the Garden entrance, our beautifully restored Victorian Stables house a vibrant collection of dining destinations. From Edie’s for family-friendly daytime dining, to Isca – a striking glasshouse restaurant filled with natural light and overlooking our reimagined Walled Kitchen Garden.

Our Stables experience is rooted in nature, with seasonal menus that bring the garden to the plate – guided by biodynamic principles and a commitment to ‘casual excellence’ and sustainability.

Membership is your ticket to enjoy unlimited access to the Garden, Parkland and Woodland throughout the open season. Our members also receive free entry to a number of exciting events, from live music in the Garden to Specialist Plant Fairs and much more. Family Membership provides unlimited access to the Adventure Playground and free school holiday trails.

Our Garden & Grounds

Set within 383 acres of heritage listed Parkland, our formal Garden captivates and delights visitors with a series of intimate 'Garden rooms'. Beyond the formal Garden you can explore Woodland walks, the South Park and our lakes with outstanding views across the Sussex High Weald.
