Edie’s serves seasonal, family-friendly food, coffee and wine from Tuesday to Sunday.
Our menu is shaped by ingredients sourced locally in Sussex, including biodynamic produce from our own Market Garden, changing regularly according to the harvest.
Set within Borde Hill’s reimagined Victorian Stables, with pitched ceilings and exposed oak beams, Edie’s is a warm, inviting space where everyone is welcome – whether you’re visiting the Garden, joining us for lunch, or dropping in for drinks, snacks or cake. We’re dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible throughout. During the summer months, guests can relax in our red-brick courtyard to enjoy sunshine dining.
Like our big sister, Restaurant Isca, next door, we bring the abundance of Borde Hill to the plate, with our kitchen taking inspiration from what the gardens and the seasons give us.

WEEKDAY SET MENU 12-2PM | £25
From Tuesday 10th November, join us for a two-course set lunch menu, available weekdays from 12–2pm. Enjoy comforting dishes, with a changing menu inspired by the season.

Enjoy a light breakfast with house granola, bacon baps, delicious pastries and coffee from Lindfield Coffee Works roastery.

Our lunch menu features seasonal produce freshly harvested from our Market Garden, with many plates designed for sharing, including options for children.

Enjoy hearty seasonal dishes as we open for dinner every Friday and Saturday evening until 19th December, alongside our Wine Bar serving a carefully selected range of wines.

Celebrate the festive season at Edie’s Kitchen with a three-course menu inspired by the comforting flavours of winter, bringing together seasonal produce from Borde Hill’s Walled Kitchen and Market Gardens alongside carefully chosen local ingredients.
From venison ragu and winter squash tart to traditional mince pies with brandy butter ice cream, our Festive Set Menu is an invitation to gather friends, family and colleagues around the table to celebrate the season together.

Edie’s also celebrates the best of the season with the Pantry, where biodynamic produce from the Market Garden, Borde Hill homemade jars, and natural wines are available to take home.

Visit Ginkgo Coffee Shop, nestled inside our Visitor Entrance Building, and open seasonally from 10am – ideal for a light bite while exploring.
Restaurant Isca
Joyful, seasonal dining in our elegant glasshouse restaurant, with dishes shaped by biodynamic produce grown and harvested across our estate. Open Wednesday to Sunday.
Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Kids Trail
Saturday 5th December – Sunday 3rd January, 10am-3:30pm
Experience the magic of Christmas at Borde Hill with an enchanting daily story trail, or meet Santa in his magical grotto on selected days.
