Edie’s serves seasonal, family-friendly food, coffee and wine seven days a week.
Our menu is shaped by ingredients sourced locally in Sussex, including biodynamic produce from our own Market Garden.
Set within Borde Hill’s reimagined Victorian Stables, with pitched ceilings and exposed oak beams, Edie’s is a warm, inviting space where everyone is welcome – whether you’re visiting the Garden, joining us for lunch, or dropping in for drinks, snacks or cake. We’re dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible throughout. During the summer months, guests can relax in our red-brick courtyard to enjoy sunshine dining.
Like our big sister, Restaurant Isca, next door, we bring the abundance of Borde Hill to the plate, with our kitchen taking inspiration from what the gardens and the seasons give us. We look forward to welcoming you.
BREAKFAST 9AM-11.30AM
Expect morning favourites including bacon baps, Eggs Benedict, potato rosti with smoked trout, house granola, fresh pastries and coffee from Lindfield Coffee Works roastery.
LUNCH 12PM-3.30PM
Our lunch menu features seasonal soups, vibrant salads, hearty burgers, classic club sandwiches, and a selection of cakes and puddings. We have a range of options for children and, in the afternoons, serve cream teas and summer drinks.
OUR PANTRY & WORKSHOP
Edie’s also celebrates the best of the season with the Pantry, our deli, where biodynamic produce from the Market Garden, Borde Hill homemade jams and granola, and natural wines are available to take home.
Next door is The Workshop, where we host seasonal events – from flower arranging to fermentation (see our Events page). The space is also available to hire for events, including corporate away days. Contact us below to enquire about hiring the many spaces at The Stables.

Garden Cafés
Ginkgo, located inside our visitor entrance building, and the Summerhouse Café, nestled within the Garden, are open seasonally from 10am – ideal for a light bite while exploring.
Restaurant Isca
Joyful, seasonal dining in our elegant glasshouse restaurant, with dishes shaped by biodynamic produce grown and harvested across our estate. Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Set within 383 acres of heritage listed Parkland, our formal Garden captivates and delights visitors with a series of intimate 'Garden rooms'. Beyond the formal Garden you can explore Woodland walks, the South Park and our lakes with outstanding views across the Sussex High Weald.
