Autumn Equinox Dinner at Isca

Celebrate the autumn equinox with a special dinner inspired by the season’s harvest and the natural rhythms of the landscape.

A seasonal celebration guided by the rhythms of nature

Mark the turn of the season with a special Autumn Equinox Dinner at Restaurant Isca – a celebration of nature’s abundance, our changing landscape and the natural rhythms that shape everything we do.

Inspired by the early autumn harvest and rooted in our garden-led ethos, the evening will introduce Isca’s new seasonal menu, bringing together biodynamic and edimental produce from our Walled Kitchen and Market Gardens with the best local ingredients. The four-course set menu will draw on the rich and earthy flavours of autumn and is priced at £75 per person, with an optional drinks pairing available for an additional £65 per person.

The evening will also see the first pouring of our Isca spirit, created with Patience Distillery using foraged edimental herbs and flowers from the Walled Kitchen Garden. It will be served in a new signature cocktail created especially for the occasion.

Beyond the gardens, autumn brings an abundance of flavours to forage across the estate. Sloes, rosehips, sweet chestnuts, and woody herbs will be woven through our new drinks menu of cocktails, botanical infusions and house-made shrubs.

Throughout the evening, astro-botanical alchemist Jemma Foster will join us as floral sommelier. Drawing on floromancy and the language of flowers, Jemma will explore the symbolism and folklore of the botanicals within each dish, inviting guests to choose not only by flavour, but by the qualities they wish to cultivate as the season turns inward.

As dusk settles, guests will be invited into the Walled Kitchen Garden to mark the equinox with a moment of reflection. Set an intention for the winter months ahead before casting it into the fire pit in the garden’s fire quadrant – a symbolic celebration of renewal and the changing seasons.
