Join us for a special event hosted by the Jensen Owners Club Sussex, as they gather at Borde Hill to celebrate Drive It Day. This annual occasion offers historic vehicle enthusiasts a unique opportunity to commemorate the One Thousand Mile Trial, which was organized in 1900 to demonstrate the revolutionary potential of the motor vehicle.
Jensens, renowned for their production in West Bromwich and their celebrity association, have held a significant place among the world’s Grand Touring cars. To honor this heritage, the club will proudly showcase a diverse array of these quintessential British cars on the Azalea Ring, including the Interceptor, C-V8, 541, and the iconic Jensen Healey.
Throughout the event, the clubs passionate members will be readily available to answer your questions, provide insights, and show visitors around their splendid vehicles. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to experience the rich history and elegance of Jensen cars up close.
About Drive It Day
Created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005, Drive It Day is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organised in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle. It’s a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.
