As part of the Reinventing Borde Hill project, we’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Community Morning – a chance to discover more about the future of South Park and enjoy a morning immersed in nature.
‘Reinventing Borde Hill’ is a long-term project aimed at connecting communities with the restorative power of nature – supporting mental and physical wellbeing, and inspiring future generations through outdoor learning. Over the coming years, we’ll be opening up new areas of our heritage-listed South Park in a sustainable and accessible way, creating spaces for people of all ages to explore, learn, play, and reconnect with the natural world.
At the Community Morning, we’ll be sharing our latest design plans and offering the chance to experience the beauty of South Park firsthand.
As this is a community-led project, we will be keen to hear your thoughts and ideas, and there will also be opportunities to learn about how you can get involved through upcoming volunteering activities.
We will also have some nature-based family activities available to take part in, including:
- Fun yoga adventures for children
- Drop-in Forest School activities
- A wildlife walk with Michael Blencowe (limited spaces!)
- A nature trail, and more!
This event takes place on Saturday 13th September, 10.30am-12:30pm
If you and your family, organisation, or other group are planning to attend this free event, register your interest here.
Alternatively email [email protected] if you have any questions.
We hope to see you there.
