As part of the Reinventing Borde Hill project, we’re delighted to welcome you to our next Community Morning, with a special focus on our exciting new Community Growing Garden, opening next spring.
The Community Growing Garden will be a welcoming and accessible space where people of all ages can come together to grow, learn and connect with nature. The garden will provide opportunities for the local community to get involved in growing, volunteering, learning and enjoying time outdoors.
At the Community Morning, you’ll have the chance to find out more about our plans for the Community Growing Garden, discover how you could get involved and share your thoughts and ideas with us. As a community-led project, your feedback is an important part of helping us shape the Community Growing Garden and make sure it becomes a space that is welcoming, useful and inspiring for everyone.
Reinventing Borde Hill is a long-term project focused on bringing people closer to the restorative benefits of nature, supporting health and wellbeing, and creating opportunities for outdoor learning. Over the coming years, we’ll be developing new areas of our heritage-listed South Park in a sustainable and accessible way, creating spaces where people can explore, learn, play and connect with the natural world.
Alongside the opportunity to learn more about the project, we’ll also have some autumn-inspired activities for families to enjoy, including:
- Make your own autumn leaf crown
- Join our guided bird walk and discover some of the birds that call South Park home
- Find out more about the Reinventing Borde Hill project and share your feedback, helping us to continue shaping its future with the community
