A Grand Doggy Day Out

A tail-wagging day of fun on the Azalea Ring, with dog shows, flyball and treats for dogs of all sizes.
Join a tail-wagging day of fun at Borde Hill

Bring your four-legged friends along for a day of fun on the Azalea Ring, with plenty of  shady trees to keep everyone cool on warmer days.

Browse a selection of pop-up shops from local independent businesses offering everything your dog could wish for, including natural treats, toys, eco-friendly and enrichment products, stylish leads and collars, bow ties, bandanas and more.

Fun Dog Show at 1.00pm

Kindly judged by the team from Oathall Vets, entry is open to all dogs, with prizes and rosettes awarded across four categories:

  • Loveliest Lady
  • Handsomest Boy
  • Perfect Pup
  • Rescue Star

Capture a special keepsake with digital pet portrait photographer Liv Cottingham, or strike a pose in front of our giant BARK letters for the perfect photo opportunity.

Throughout the day, enjoy exciting Flyball demonstrations from Flossies Flyers, with opportunities for dogs to have a go themselves and discover this energetic canine sport.

There will also be plenty of treats to keep tails wagging, including doggy ice cream and paddling pools for dogs to cool off and play. A vintage ice cream van will also be on site, offering refreshments for owners.

We’ll also be holding a charity raffle in support of Raystede Animal Centre, helping to raise funds for the wonderful work they do caring for animals in need.

Whether you’re shopping, spectating, competing or simply enjoying a day out in the beauty of the Garden with your best friend by your side, A Grand Doggy Day Out promises fun for the whole family – paws included.
