There are plenty of benches located around the Garden for relaxing and taking in the sights should you want to stop for a rest.
The Parkland and Woodland have naturally uneven terrain making them unsuitable for wheelchairs.

An accessible toilet can be found behind our main Garden entrance and Visitor Reception building which includes an emergency pull cord for use if you need assistance. This toilet also has baby changing facilities.

Does Borde Hill offer a discount for carers?
We offer free admission to carers who are visiting with the person they care for. On arrival, simply show your carers card.
Do you have toilets?
Toilets are located behind our main Visitor Reception building and near the Long Dell.
An accessible toilet can also be found behind our main Visitor Reception building which includes an emergency pull cord for use if you need assistance. This toilet also has baby changing facilities.
Are there plenty of places to sit down?
There are plenty of benches located around the Garden and Woodland for relaxing and taking in the sights should you want to stop for a rest.
How long will it take to walk around the Garden?
The formal Garden is 17 acres. There is a main circular route around the Elizabethan Mansion with many smaller paths to explore. We recommend spending 2-3 hours at Borde Hill.
Can I bring my dog?
We welcome dogs on short leads throughout our Garden, Parkland and Woodland at all times during our open season.

Under an hour from London and 20 minutes from Brighton, Borde Hill is the ideal place for all ages to enjoy the beauty of nature.
