February and March is the perfect time to explore the Garden’s historic collection of magnolias and camellias on a self-guided walk.

Visitors can browse a wide range of locally grown, garden-worthy and unusual plants at Specialist Plant Fairs in both May and September.

We have a carefully curated calendar of events set within beautiful outdoor spaces at Borde Hill – from The Great British Food Festival and Sussex Gin Fest in the Parkland, to Outdoor Opera evenings on the South Lawn in front of the Elizabethan House.

Private Hire

Are you looking for a beautiful and tranquil venue for a special celebration, or a unique setting to entertain your clients, host a meeting or treat staff to an away day?

Our wonderfully decorated marquee can be privately hired and can accommodate up to 80 people. Instead of a break out room, your clients or team will enjoy getting out into the fresh air and exploring the Garden, to reawaken the senses and promote wellbeing.

Membership is your ticket to enjoy unlimited access to the Garden, Parkland and Woodland throughout the open season.
