Daily Kids Trail in the Woodland
This summer, step into a world of enchantment with our Woods of Wonder story trail! Join Warren the Flower Fairy on a magical adventure through Warren Wood – travel to imaginary lands, meet otherworldly creatures, and discover that trees can hear, flowers can talk, and mysterious beings watch your every move. Nothing is as it seems!
As children journey through each mystical land, they can complete activities in their Woods of Wonder storybook. Once all the chapters are completed, it’s time to return to the ‘real’ world and collect a special reward. Are you ready for the adventure?
Our summer trail is perfect for children aged 3-8 years and costs £4 per trail, plus Garden admission to include a prize.

Kid-Friendly Meals
Keep your young adventurers fueled with the Little Gardener’s Lunch from Baked by Cordia – a family-friendly option including a cheddar cheese sandwich, mini choc chip cookie, and strawberries. Available from Gloriette in the Garden or Ginkgo in Visitor Reception, to enjoy at the cafés, or packed up to take on your journey into the woods.

A Haunting Halloween – Kids Trail & Activities
This Halloween, children aged 3–8 years can follow a spooky trail through the Garden or join us on selected days for spine-tingling fun – from explosive science experiments and gooey slime making to magic shows and hands-on reptile encounters!
Cost: Story Tail – £4.50 per child, plus admission to include a prize (free to members). Extra charges apply for the daily activities.

The Pony Who Dreamt of Being a Reindeer – Christmas Trail
This Christmas, children aged 3–8 years old can ignite their imaginations while exploring the Garden on a festive story trail, ‘The Pony Who Dreamt of Being a Reindeer’.
Cost: £4.50 per child, plus admission to include a prize (free to members)
Weekends from Saturday 29th November – Sunday 21st December 30 minute sessions between 9.30am – 3.00pm
Santa’s Grotto
Book a 30-minute experience that includes festive activities and games inside our Elf Training Camp, followed by a visit to see the man himself in his magical Grotto, where each child will receive a Christmas gift.
Cost: £19.00, including Members (entry to the Grotto for 1 Child and 1 supervising Adult). Booking is required.
