Rose Pruning Masterclass
with Peter Mills
Thursday 23rd January, 10:30am – 1.30pm
Join Peter Mills, BBC radio broadcaster, RHS advisor, and gardening writer, for an informative talk and practical pruning masterclass. Drawing on his vast 35-year experience in horticulture, Peter will share the theory of rose pruning and growing techniques.
Learn the art of growing all types of roses – from old and modern shrub varieties to climbers and ramblers. This masterclass will enhance your understanding and ensure your own roses perform to their full potential, creating stunning summer displays.
Following the talk, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Borde Hill’s celebrated Rose Garden in winter as we take the workshop outdoors for hands-on demonstrations where you can put the theory into practice.
Eating At Borde Hill
Visit the Garden Café, open daily from 10am and located in the beautiful surroundings between the Rose Garden and the Mid Summer Border. It’s the perfect spot to sit and relax with a barista coffee, light lunch or a delicious cup of tea.
Choose from an enticing selection of freshly made sandwiches, toasties, and savoury delights, as well as a delicious array of cakes and bakes.
Private Hire
Are you looking for a beautiful and tranquil venue for a special celebration, or a unique setting to entertain your clients, host a meeting or treat staff to an away day?
