Festive Bauble Embroidery Workshop

Join Sussex Textile artist Beth Power of Dotty Textiles for a relaxing festive embroidery workshop, taking place inside the Animal Room at Borde Hill House, beautifully decorated for Christmas.

During the workshop, you will create a beautiful hand stitched bauble to treasure for years to come. Using a delightful combination of fabrics, sparkly trims, and simple embroidery stitches you will make an 8cm fabric bauble presented in a wooden hoop and finished with a luxurious velvet ribbon ready to hang on your Christmas tree or to gift to someone special.

Beth, the creative force behind Dotty Textiles is known for her whimsical textile and embroidery artworks, or Stitchscapes, created from layered fabrics, hand embroidery, and embellishments. With her warm friendly guidance, this workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some stitching experience.

Leave with a unique festive decoration, new embroidery skills, and plenty of inspiration.

Itinerary

10.00am: Arrival tea, coffee and biscuits, served inside the Animal Room at Borde Hill House
10.15am: Workshop begins
12.30pm: A light lunch, served inside the Animal Room
1.00pm: Workshop recommences
3.00pm: Workshop ends
